Is a Scam?

It's tempting to leave it at that, but you probably want proof.

First of all, sellshark is not, in any way, associated with a certain Nigerian Prince that keeps emailing you. We're pretty sure he is a scam, by the way, so watch out for that.

Secondly, let's talk about how you can tell someone is scamming you. Conning someone is easier than ever thanks to the anonymity of the Internet. You'll find people selling air miles on Craigslist, spyware hidden in your toolbar, and thousands of websites that insist you are the 1,000,000th visitor!

The whole point of scamming someone is to get money as quickly as possible with the least amount of work. If you're scamming someone, here are the things youDON'Tdo:

  • You don't have a physical address
  • You don't spend the time or money on a pretty website
  • You don't stay in one place as you need to move fast so no one can find you
  • You don't post any information that can be used to identify you or your team
  • You don't answer questions or concerns, or if you do, you try to be as vague as possible
  • You don't participate in social media because people can use it to find you
  • You don't use a real name

Take a look at sellshark:

Our Website

You don't want to know how much time and money we spend making sure this website works. Trust us. It's sickening. Daily updates don't come free. And let's be honest - our design kind of rocks. This isn't a late 90s Geocities page.

Our History

sellshark started in the home office of our founder, Jon Slyman. We started at 3 orders a day, and now we process up to 500 orders a day. Jon decided he didn't want to do it all himself, so now there's 20 employees spread across two offices.

Social Media

Yep - we have social media too. Here's ourFacebookandTwitter.

Here's all the great things people say about us in thereviews.
